HA!

Hey! I've commented on your work.. Just in person, not online... That counts too doesn't it??
:iconsiliconviper:
I'm pretty sure that counts, yes. At least as far as I'm concerned it does. DA's comment database may think otherwise, though. ;p

It's a shame that you've been here for 3 yrs and no one had the courtesy to leave you a comment on here. Welp, I'm honored to do so. Your work is very well done.

Do you, also, make 3D images of pictures of others? Or just completely original characters?

Regarding making 3D works of pictures... my abilities with a pen and paper, or any form of dextrous-art like that, is sorely lacking. I can barely draw a proportionate stick figure, not because I don't understand how to, but because my hands never seem to do what my brain wants them to.

Everything I do is purely digital, with the exception of user interface design. I sketch those out on paper, because it doesn't matter if they look like ass. ;p

I fully agree and understand your statement about folks not really appreciating/paying attention to the work you create. For the fact that you still strive and create w/o comments regarding your work shows that you are a true artist. Touche.

Also, in regards to the pictures. I meant as in a photograph. Do you digitize images of people and make them into 3D images?

I, too, understand what you mean about your hands not cooperating with the vision of your mind. I, seriously, lack the gene that allows my hands to sketch the insane images that take for inside of my brain. I wish I could actually draw something that would be understandable even to my own eyes. Actually, I'm the only Gemini that I know of that can not draw fairly well. Damn . . . *sulks*

Thanks for clarifying what you meant.

I've never actually used a photograph as a basis for my work, because honestly, the thought had never really crossed my mind. Now that you mention it, it could be fun...

Next time I start working, I might just try this!

LOL. Well, whenever you do make it, I'd love to see the finished product . . . and, possibly, make a request.

Thank you for the courtesy, it is appreciated.

Art has never been about the end result for me, or how people react to that result. Once the project is complete, the fun is over. It's the journey that makes up the creation of the resulting work that I live for, in all forms of art I try my hand at. Be it visual, musical, or software.

So while I do appreciate your kindness, I've never really taken the time to be bothered by nobody commenting on what I make. ^_^
